Diaspora Alliance Port Harcourt Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited (DAPH Coop) is registered under the section 5 (1) of the Nigerian Cooperative Societies Decree no. 90 of 1993 (now an Acro of 2004) with registration number RS 35918 on the 6th o f January 2026 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
DAPH coop was founded by Engineer Uche O. Kalu together with some staff of Bullion offshore Contracting Ltd, Oil industry professionals, Traders, Students and friends in Nigeria and the Diaspora. DAPH Coop is led by a 6 Man Management Committee which also serves as the Board of the Cooperative and headed by the Chairman. The Management Committee is made up of the Founder/DG, Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. Every Chapter of DAPH Coop also maintains a Chapter leadership structure made up of Director, PRO, Secretary, Treasurer and Welfare coordinator. They are elected into office by the members for an initial period of two years. If members decide, their tenor can be extended by another 1 year. Chapters exist in each membership category
The day-to-day running of the Cooperative is done by the staff of the Cooperative who work from the secretariat or field. They are not elected officials. To enable us to deliver the solutions promised without overwhelming the cooperative staff, DAPH Coop’s services runs on an online platform which is plugged into the open channel of Orisson resources Online portal to leverage already existing structure fit for purpose, on a plug and play mode. It is the enabler for fast service delivery, management and admin efficiency.
DAPH Coop is positioned as a safer investment channel linking Diasporas to the economy of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Niger Delta and South Africa. To facilitate delivery of benefits to our members we leverage on Orisson resourced platform to access “Token Resources at Niger Delta” (TRAND), which tokenizes Property / Housing, meal tickets, Training and other services offered on Orisson resources ecosystem. We are based in Port Harcourt. However, our reach is Niger Delta (Southeast and South South), South Africa and Diaspora of same extraction.
Vision
To give our diaspora a simple safe investment channel into the economy and be the single source solution for members in Affordable housing, Low-cost Foodstuffs purchase, Job skills training, Startup enabler and basic welfare support.
Membership
Members are differentiated by Active and Nominal membership divisions. When you register, define your location (Diaspora or In – Country) and activate your wallet, you become a nominal member. A nominal member enjoys only the most basic functions of the Trand wallet with limited benefits only by maintaining the monthly minimum exchange. Nominal members have only a membership ID number but no ID card. Becoming an active member is optional.
The active membership division is classified into 4 Broad Classes. Each class has several Class categories. The 4 Membership Categories are Investors, Skilled Workers, Student – Trainees, SME (Small and Medium scale Enterprises). Active membership of each Class Category has some basic criteria listed as follows:
- Investors: – Register as an investor by buying the DAPH – TRAND bonds by class category of your choice and ability.
- Skilled Workers: – Register as a skilled worker by your skill – Income level and your ability to mentor younger professionals.
- Student – Trainee: – Register as a Student – Trainee by via our mentoring Master classes and taking free online course on Orisson School on Entrepreneurship and Technology
- SME: – Register as an SME by filling out 1 or 2 areas of business you do within the range of startups and small businesses supported by DAPH Coop.
